REMAR Schweiz

The two identities sit side by side rather than blending, and a reader deciding whether to book should know both: this is a charity-run crew, and the crew itself is described in ordinary commercial terms.

The Full-Service-Umzug is the hands-off option: the site lists complete planning and organisation, careful dismantling of furniture, packing of household goods with material the company supplies, transport to the new address, and reassembly once you arrive. The third example, by contrast, is unambiguous: a Möbellift (furniture hoist) at CHF 100 per hour including the operator, with a stated minimum job size of 3 hours, plus a flat 30 minutes each way for travel to and from the site. For moves abroad, REMAR says it offers a lump-sum quote covering everything, without stating a figure.

Elsewhere on the same page, REMAR says its hourly rate has stayed the same for 30 years, a specific claim about pricing stability rather than a founding date for the organisation (the site does not state when REMAR itself was founded, so none is given here). The furniture hoist, in detail

Because REMAR spells this one out more than the rest, it is worth quoting directly: the hoist is pitched at homes reached only through narrow stairwells, and the company's pitch is that it moves furniture in through a window or over a balcony rather than risking scratches and dents carrying it up the stairs. The flexible, pay-for-what-you-use model suits someone who can pack their own boxes and just needs muscle and a van for the heavy lifting and the drive; the Full-Service option suits someone who wants to hand over the whole job, packing material included. The furniture hoist is a real answer for anyone whose new place has a stairwell too narrow or too high for a normal carry.

The caveat is the ambiguity around the two headline crew prices. CHF 140 and CHF 170 are concrete numbers, but without a stated unit next to them, a caller needs to confirm on the phone whether that is per hour, per half-day, or a flat fee for a given job size, before treating either as comparable to another mover's hourly rate.
