HOMEBOX Genf

HOMEBOX rents out temperature-controlled self-storage units and is present in Switzerland with a center in Geneva on Route du Bois-des-Freres in the Le Lignon district, part of a network of more than 160 locations across Europe. Units range from 1 to over 50 m², with larger spaces available on request, and take in furniture, household goods or business stock. The facilities are temperature-controlled, under video surveillance, and fitted with intrusion and fire alarms; each unit locks with its own code and its own padlock.

Most units can be reached around the clock with a personal access code, while a few locations run on an extended schedule from 6 am to midnight. There are no steps or ramps to worry about, and access works fine with a wheelchair. The contract runs monthly with a one-month minimum, and it can be switched to a bigger or smaller box at no cost. Trolleys and hand trucks are free to use, and the Geneva location also has a moving van available. Advice is available in German, French and English.
